Cognition AI unveiled 'Devin', which the US-based startup claims is "the first AI software engineer" that can write, debug and deploy code. "Devin solves engineering tasks through its own shell, code editor and web browser," Cognition said. "When evaluated on the SWE-Bench benchmark, Devin correctly resolves 13.86% of the issues unassisted," the startup backed by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund said.
