Cognizant, which is being widely criticised for offering ₹2.52 lakh per annum salary to freshers, is led by one of India's highest-paid CEOs. Ravi Kumar S, appointed CEO of Cognizant in January 2023, got about ₹186 crore in compensation last year. "Kumar's annual total compensation for 2023 is substantially higher because of certain one-time equity awards," Cognizant earlier said.
