YouTube Music workers shockingly learned of their layoffs when a co-worker announced the terminations during live public testimony at an Austin council hearing. These 50-odd employees were subcontracted by Cognizant, and they have lost their jobs. Since the contract ended between Google and Cognizant, the employees no more have the jobs.
