An 18-year-old college student and his friends in Mumbai lost ₹2.2 lakh while buying tickets online for Coldplay's concert. The student said that he found a contact number that appeared legitimate while searching for passes and bought 24 tickets with his friends. They found out the tickets were fake when a relative pointed out discrepancies in the fake confirmation email.
