Colombia earthquake losses estimated at ₹91,843 crore

Economic losses from 7.4-magnitude earthquake in Colombia are estimated at $9.58 billion (₹91,843 crore), President Abelardo De La Espriella said on Monday. "This is a preliminary figure that will be adjusted as we obtain more information and as the damage is assessed," he added. The quake toppled several buildings, killing around 280 people, injuring over 4,000 and leaving 143 missing.
