The Bombay High Court asked Vijay Mallya when he would return to India before hearing his plea challenging the constitutional validity of the Fugitive Economic Offenders Act and the special court's order naming him a fugitive. "Unless you submit to the court's jurisdiction, how can we do anything?...Come back to India first...then we will hear the petition," the court said.
