Walmart's Regional CEO, Asia and Canada, Dirk Van den Berghe said Walmart's and Flipkart's commitment to India is deep and long-term. This follows a Morgan Stanley report which speculated Walmart may leave Flipkart due to the implementation of the newly revised FDI policy on e-commerce. "We will continue to focus on serving customers...and bringing sustainable benefits to [India]", he added.
