Common chemical found in homes linked to heart disease deaths: Study

A study by NYU Langone Health has suggested that synthetic chemicals called phthalates, found in a wide range of everyday plastic products, may have contributed to 3,56,238 heart disease deaths worldwide in 2018. "Our findings add to the vast body of evidence that these chemicals present a tremendous danger to human health," said study lead author Sara Hyman.
