Company database platform Crunchbase has raised $30 million in a Series C round of funding led by Canada's OMERS Ventures. The Silicon Valley startup's existing investors Emergence Capital, Mayfield, Cowboy Ventures and Verizon Ventures also participated in the round. Created by Michael Arrington in 2007, Crunchbase was later spun out of AOL and TechCrunch as a standalone entity in 2015.
