Ticketing app, TodayTix, has introduced 'silent snacks' to encourage people to eat food that doesn't disturb others in a theatre. Priced at around ₹175 each, the silent snacks, including Quiet (Pop)corn, Muffled Truffles, and Anti-Gas Lime and Mint Drink, are packaged in soft fabrics and soundless silicone cups. A trial run for the snacks was conducted last week in London.
