After activist Medha Patkar joined 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' in Maharashtra, former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani said that Patkar's participation in the Congress' 'padayatra' shows that the party is against development. "Medha Patkar was the person who opposed [the] Narmada dam project. She protested over it and created obstacles in the state's development," said Rupani.
