The BJP welcomed the acquittal of all seven accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, including their former MP Pragya Thakur. "Hindu terror conspiracy by Congress gets defeated!" said spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari, adding that Sonia Gandhi and the Congress should apologise to the country. "Should Congress not be punished for their crimes against Hindus?" said spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla.
