Congress' Nandigram bypoll candidate granted interim bail

The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday granted interim bail to Milan Pradhan, the Congress candidate for bypoll in West Bengal's Nandigram till October 20. Pradhan has been in judicial custody since he was arrested on September 18 in murder cases dating to 2007. The court also dismissed a petition filed by Congress challenging the candidature of BJP's Nandigram candidate.
