Congress' Nandigram bypoll candidate sent to 14-day custody in 2007 murder case

Congress' Nandigram Assembly bypoll candidate Milan Pradhan was sent to 14-day judicial custody in a 2007 murder case in West Bengal. Police said Pradhan was arrested on the basis of non-bailable warrants which included charges of murder, abduction, evidence tampering, trespassing and rioting. Pradhan's arrest had come hours after he received support from ex-CM Mamata Banerjee's TMC faction.
