Sagar Khandre, a 26-year-old Congress candidate contesting elections for the first time, has emerged victorious in the Bidar seat, triumphing over Union Minister Bhagwant Khuba by a substantial margin of 1.29 lakh votes. Khandre secured a significant mandate with 6,66,317 votes, representing 53.6 percent of the total votes, marking a notable win for the Congress party in Karnataka.
