Karnataka High Court has invalidated Congress leader KY Nanjegowda's election as Malur MLA, ordering the Election Commission of India (ECI) to carry out a fresh vote count. The High Court cited irregularities in the vote-counting process to nullify the 2023 election. It further put the order on hold for 30 days, allowing Nanjegowda to approach the Supreme Court.
