Congress MP & NSUI workers protest outside IIT Bombay over student's suicide, detained

Mumbai Congress President and MP Varsha Gaikwad, dozens of other party workers and NSUI activists staged a protest outside IIT Bombay to demand accountability over student's suicide. Speaking to reporters during the protest, Gaikwad accused the government of harming the education system and termed the incident an "institutional murder". The protesters were detained by the police.
