PM Narendra Modi, while addressing a rally in Assam's Darrang, said that when the Government conferred Dr Bhupen Hazarika with a Bharat Ratna posthumously in 2019, the President of Congress (Mallikarjun Kharge) said, 'Modi is giving Bharat Ratna to naachne-gaane vale (dancers-singers).' "I was deeply hurt when Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma showed me the video," PM Modi added.
