Congress has released the first list of 21 candidates for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections. The party will contest on 25 Assembly seats in the upcoming elections in an alliance with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). Congress also selected the candidature of V Vijayakumar as the party candidate for the ensuing by-election to the Lok Sabha from Kanniyakumari Parliamentary Constituency.
