Congress wins Jhalawar, considered BJP's Vasundhara Raje's bastion, in local body polls

The Congress won Rajasthan's Jhalawar Municipal Council on Monday, securing 29 of its 45 wards. The region is considered a political stronghold of former Rajasthan CM and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje. The BJP won 13 wards, while Independents secured two and the AAP won one. Congress also secured a clear majority in Sikar, winning 38 of the 65 wards.
