Indian government's Department of Consumer Affairs has facilitated refunds amounting to ₹45 crore across 31 sectors from April 25 to December 26 this year. The e-commerce sector accounted for the highest share of such cases, with 39,965 grievances and refunds totalling ₹32 crore. This sector is followed by the travel and tourism sector, which recorded refunds amounting to ₹3.5 crore.
