Consumer panel orders immigration firm to pay ₹3 lakh to student

Chandigarh's district consumer commission directed Settling Abroad Services to pay ₹2.89 lakh with 6% interest and ₹30,000 in damages to student Monika. The firm allegedly underpaid her Birmingham City University tuition by £700, causing her to lose a £1,500 scholarship, and failed to arrange a promised airport taxi and hotel booking.
