Consuming foods with added sugars may cause kidney stones: Study

Scientists found that consuming foods with added sugars, like soft drinks and cakes, may raise the risk of kidney stones. US individuals with high added sugar intake had a 40% higher chance of developing kidney stones. This connection was particularly noticeable among Asians and Native Americans. However, the study doesn't explain precisely how added sugars contribute to this risk.
