Controlling 3 midlife risks may delay dementia by 13 years: Study

A new international study found that controlling high blood pressure, type-2 diabetes and smoking in middle age may delay dementia by around 13 years. Published in Neurology, the study analysed health data of over 12,400 people for nearly 26 years. Researchers said managing these risks may help protect long-term brain health and reduce dementia risk.
