Cook Islands' new Prime Minister gives himself 17 portfolios

Cook Islands' new Prime Minister Mark Brown has allocated himself 17 portfolios in the country's government, including foreign affairs, immigration, finance, energy and renewables, police, and telecommunications. Brown came to power this month after Henry Puna resigned. Opposition leader, Tina Browne, said the portfolio allocations suggested the PM lacked confidence in his other cabinet ministers.
