US-based manufacturer of glass and ceramics, Corning on Wednesday unveiled Gorilla Glass 5, the latest version of its chemically strengthened super glass that is used by several consumer electronics makers for their devices. The company claimed that the new Gorilla Glass can survive up to 80% of the time when dropped face down from 1.6 meters onto rough surfaces.
