Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the Union Budget on Tuesday, announced the decision to reduce the corporate tax rate on foreign companies from 40% to 35%. She said that this is being done to attract "foreign capital for our development needs". Angel tax for all classes of investors will be abolished, she further announced.
