Could persistent fever signal a serious fungal infection?

Dr Atul Philips warned that persistent fever should not always be dismissed as a seasonal viral infection, especially in people with diabetes, weakened immunity, or long-term steroid use. He said invasive fungal infections can begin with mild symptoms but may quickly spread to vital organs if diagnosis and treatment are delayed.
