The Congress party on Sunday announced its candidates for the MLC Election, including candidates for the seven available seats and the upcoming council by-elections. Among the chosen candidates, Balkis Bhanu, a former president of the Shimoga Zilla Panchayat and a significant figure in the minority community, has been given a ticket for the Congress Legislative Council.
