Three children, aged between six and 12, have died after their parents allegedly fed them poison during dinner in Chhattisgarh's Kanker, police said on Saturday. The couple later reportedly tried to die by suicide, following which they were taken to a hospital in critical condition, a police officer said. The locals claimed the family was facing severe financial distress.
