In an accident that occurred late on Thursday night in Karnal, a car plunged into Western Yamuna Canal near the Kaithal road bridge. The vehicle had two occupants, 40-year-old Amit Miglani and his 35-year-old wife Nisha, residents of Sector 13. The body of the woman has been recovered, while efforts are underway to search for Amit in the canal.
