Investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, International Finance Corp and Times Internet Ltd, led by New Enterprise Associates, have invested $49.5 million in the open online education provider Coursera Inc. The funds will be used to source new content, expand global reach and improve the learning experience while Times Internet will provide support to “build awareness of Coursera in India”.
