A Delhi court framed charges against Popular Front of India (PFI) leaders and said there is "grave suspicion" that the accused acted to overthrow the Indian government and establish an Islamic Caliphate in the country by 2047. As many as 26 PFI leaders have been charged under the UAPA. The court also observed that the "organisation allegedly targeted Hindu leaders".
