While granting relief to AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in excise policy case, the court expressed displeasure over CBI’s use of the term “south group” for certain accused liquor businessmen. The court observed that had the same chargesheet been filed in a court in Chennai, it might have been perceived as offensive. It said region-based labelling could create a prejudicial impression.
