The Supreme Court on Tuesday said that if the Centre does not take any action towards the banning of Khap Panchayats, then the court will have to step in. A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra slammed the Centre for failing to control attacks on love marriages and diktats by the Khap Panchayats.
