Covaxin has submitted documents for emergency use authorisation in Canada. Reports said that if Covaxin gets approval in Canada, thousands of Indian citizens, students, temporary workers and new residents who have been inoculated by Covaxin will no longer face entry restrictions in Canada. Currently, among the vaccines available in India, only Covishield is approved in Canada.
