The summer surge in COVID-19 is showing no signs of abating and is rather spreading across the United States, according to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Official data showed wastewater activity for coronavirus is now at a "moderate" level nationwide. Wastewater levels for the virus are currently the highest in the Western US.
