As per an IIT Madras analysis, the third COVID-19 wave in India will peak between February 1 and February 15, PTI reported. The R-naught value of COVID-19 (which indicates rate of virus spread) in India was recorded at 4 between January 1 and January 6, it said. The value was close to 2.9 nationally in the last week of 2021.
