A total of 3.3 lakh COVID-19 claims worth ₹10,603 crore are outstanding with insurers, the Economic Times reported. Of the total, 95,569 claims are from financial year 2020-21. In the first four months of FY22 up to July-end, 12.3 lakh claims worth ₹13,804 crore were filed with general and health insurers. Of this, 49,452 claims worth ₹389 crore were rejected.
