India reported 335 new COVID-19 infections on Sunday, with the number of active cases rising to 1,701, according to data from the Union Health Ministry. The country also recorded five deaths, with four in Kerala, where the COVID sub-variant JN.1 was detected and one in Uttar Pradesh.
