March 11, 2024 marks four years since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of a novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) a pandemic, better known as COVID-19. Since then, millions of infections and fatalities have occurred around the world. As of March 11, 2024, India has 1,158 active COVID-19 cases and 533,510 people have died over the last four years.
