CPCB to identify hotspots, create maps to tackle noise pollution in Delhi

In order to tackle noise pollution in the national capital, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is planning to identify hotspots and create noise maps of the city. The CPCB will also appoint a consultant to develop noise maps by considering day and night equivalent noise levels. The board will then suggest measures to reduce noise pollution in identified locations.
