CPI(M) seeks people-centric coastal development policy

The CPI(M)’s Dakshina Kannada district committee has urged the Karnataka government to adopt a people-centric development policy for coastal Karnataka instead of relying on corporate-oriented PPP models. District secretary Muneer Katipalla raised the demand at a press conference in Mangaluru on Tuesday, ahead of the special Cabinet meeting scheduled at Praja Soudha in Padil.
