Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) has directed government agencies to ensure that crackers are burst between 8 pm and 10 pm in Bengaluru. KSPCB further permitted sale of green crackers and banned crackers that may contribute to sound and air pollution. All districts have been directed to measure air and sound pollution on seven days before and after Diwali.
