In a freak accident, a train bound for Ubon Ratchathani province in Thailand derailed after a crane collapsed on it. The construction crane fell on top of one of the train’s carriages, killing at least 22 people and injuring at least 30. The crane was operating on a high-speed rail project, causing a train to derail and briefly catch fire.
