A Madhya Pradesh court ordered an FIR against the operator of cruise boat that overturned in Jabalpur's Bargi Dam reservoir, killing 13. "The vessel operator...abandoned the passengers who were drowning, and himself escaped safely," the court said, calling it prima facie an attempt to commit culpable homicide. It said a probe was needed to prevent such rescue failures in future.
