Around 240 criminal cases against BJP candidate for Lok Sabha polls, K Surendran, were published in four pages in a newspaper in Kerala's Pathanamthitta. The criminal charges were published in the newspaper as it is mandated by the Election Commission that all candidates with criminal records should publish this in three leading newspapers or thrice in a single paper.
