CRISIL sees growth boost from monsoon, scope for rate cuts

Above-average monsoons and easing food inflation could provide a timely boost to India's economy, according to CRISIL. The rating agency expects two more rate cuts this fiscal year as inflation softens and rural consumption recovers. However, global tariff risks may weigh on private capex. CRISIL forecasts India's GDP growth at 6.5% for FY26.
