Cross-FIRs registered in Lakhimpur assault case; probe on

In UP, after a youth was assaulted by a woman’s family, the girl’s relatives have filed a counter-complaint alleging home intrusion. UP Police have registered cross-FIRs and assigned the probe to a sub-inspector. Arrests have been made, and investigations continue. Both cases are now under investigation, being led by Sub-Inspector Himanshu Anand Singh.
