During the presentation ceremony after the ODI World Cup 2023 final between India and Australia, the Ahmedabad crowd booed umpire Richard Kettleborough after his name was announced. Australia defeated India in the final by six wickets. In a coincidence, Kettleborough has officiated in every ICC knockout match India has lost since 2014.
